I love carbs and fat, so naturally I love carbs and fat together. I know not the healthiest option, but downright tasty! The other night I was craving pasta salad. Not the “that sounds really good” craving, but the pregnancy “I must eat it now” craving. The idea of noodles slathered in mayo and sour cream just sounded finger lickin’ good.
So, I pulled out my old standby pasta salad recipe. I’ve used it so many times that the paper is stained and crackly. Even though I was needing carbs, I threw in some veggies just to be safe. After all, gotta be a little healthy – took a picture just to prove it! The best part of this recipe is that everything comes together really fast! You can get the dressing made while the noodles are boiling.
After everything is put together, the recipes says to let is chill for a while. Sadly, I have little to know self-control (I will eat an entire box of Chocolate chip cookies if they enter my home within a 2 days, yes it’s bad) and dug right in!
